The consulting firm, Innovative Human Resources Solutions, LLC, was founded by Ron Moore in late 2003. IHRS is positioned to provide senior level oversight, planning, evaluation, and implementation for all aspects of Human Resources in hospitals, businesses, and not-for-profit organization.
Prior to the creation of Innovative Human Resources Solutions, LLC, Ron was the Vice President for Human Resources at New Hanover Health Network; Manager of Administrative Services at Miller Building Corporation; General Manager of the Entré Computer Center, all located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Prior to returning to Wilmington in 1986, he was a partner in Chief Oil Field Equipment Company and Senior Vice President for Financial Planning Corporation of America in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Ron spent eight years on active duty in the US Army, and served as a Captain in Aviation and Air Defense units with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions and the 19th Aviation Battalion.
Ron received a Master of Science in Education Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1985 and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University in 1969.
He is a Charter member and President, 05/06, of the Wilmington West Rotary Club, has served as Board Chairman for Cape Fear Partners for Career Success, and as a Board member of Communities in Schools for Cape Fear.
He was a member on the Traffic Demand Management Task Force, a member of the NC Department of Labor Industry Advisory Board, and currently serves on the Board and is a past President of the Wilmington Regional Safety and Health School.
He served as President of the North Carolina Healthcare Human Resources Association, and was elected to and served on the national Board of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration.
Ron, 59, was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and is married to Sandie Moore. They have one married son, Ronald II, and two grandchildren. He has over 36 years of leadership, business management and senior level Human Resources experience, the last eleven years in healthcare.
